Beginner Raw Edge Machine Applique

Beginner Raw Edge Applique-Learn the steps for Raw Edge Applique from beginning to end.  Tips and Tricks shown along the way.

Kit and handout, with notes for you to follow for future projects, included in class fee.

Supply List :

Sewing machine will be provided in class

Black permanent fine tip marker

Sharp snips

Sharp scissors for cutting  shapes out of fabric ( I prefer serrated scissors, Karen Kaye Buckley are my favorite, they come in three sizes and I use all three)

Paper scissors

Pressing sheet (Teflon)

50 wt machine embroidery thread in black

Open toe foot for machine (will be provided in class)

Metallic or Quilting Needles

Hand sewing needle (if your project has buttons)

Erasable marking pen (I prefer the Frixion pens)

Pattern for project

Heat and Bond- 1/4 yard

Tea Towel

Fabrics for applique pattern

Sewing Machines will be generously provided for students by Bernina/ Hinkletown Sewing Center
