About the event
Have you always wanted to learn how to screenprint on fabric but didn't want to invest in the supplies? -Learn to screenprint on fabric using household materials and things already around your sewing room! In this class students will learn various processes for easy screenprinting to add personal artistic touches to their projects! We will begin with demonstrations on how to make your own screen and then students will have the opportunity to make their own designs on silkscreens and print directly on to fabric with permanent inks. All materials will be provided.
-Kits are optional to purchase for take home- $40 each, purchase in class. Kits provide everything you need to print at home.
Supplies needed: An old shirt or apron that can get dirty, a pencil and fine line sharpie, an xacto or craft knife, fabric you may want to print on (solid color panels will be provided in class- you may bring extra fabric if you prefer). All other supplies will be provided.
