Moving Forward With Rulers

Join Sarah in this intermediate ruler work class where you'll be provided with a pre-printed panel and various rulers to create your own quilted Star Blossom flower. You will work specifically with arcs, pebbles, a wave, a lotus petal, and have a slew of other ruler shapes at your disposal to make your panel uniquely yours. Sarah will share tips and tricks for using rulers to help highlight free motion designs and/or to take center stage with accurate and precisely-placed ruler quilting. Thread, fabric, batting, and ruler use will be provided in the class fee. Additional panels and ruler kits will be available to take home with you. You will be working on a BERNINA Q-series sit-down machine. Whether you are a stand up longarmer, a sitdown quilter, or a domestic quilter, and have an understanding of ruler use, this class is perfect for you! Bonus...you'll go home with a pattern from Sarah to turn your pre-printed panel into a handy flat folio tote bag! 

The BERNINA Q-Series are sit down longarm machines. They will be provided by Bernina/ Hinkletown Sewing Center
